We're thinking of moving to Southfields...?

As we can afford more bedrooms there- any recommendations, advice against? Or should we go to Wimbledon where we can afford less but get more from the area? Any help is appreciated as we currently live in Beckton so any locals feedback?

I moved out to Wimbledon many years a go and was wondering what people think of that area? Anyone from Morden or round about, that has good memories to share. I think most will say it’s a bit of a dump and they are probably right. But I still have many fond memories of the place.
