What is this village-type area of London?

I watched the beginning of the Channel 4 programme tonight (11pm) on identity theft, and the presenter began in an area of North London, where he’d bought a house. It looked very nice, like a village, and had a pond. It was unrecognisable to me, but I’d love to know where it is exactly – any ideas?

You know how it is, you hear young people using slang and you start using it to take the piss out of them.
