Where can I see a vet at the weekends?

Today, following a tragic border collie on very tiny yorkshire terrior incident in the park I discovered that it is really difficult to find a vet that is open at weekends. We eventually found one in Hounslow after a lot of ringing around. Do any of you know of any that you could recommened? You never know ...

Cats, eh? You can’t just cover them in bubblewrap and ask them not to climb trees/eat frogspawn and sick it up on your kitchen floor/bring in earthworms for you to step on in your barefeet at 3am on the way to the loo/go tharn in front of oncoming traffic.
