In my wanders I’ve found another possible venue for get-togethers. It’s not huge and it’s a cellar bar, but it’s central and free Tues – Sat. The pub’s called the “Royal George” and it’s in Goslett Yard which is just off Charing Cross Road, just near the Astoria....

This is a very strange request, but does anyone know any flautists based in London?! We’ve just had a flute player drop out for the charity concert I’m playing in on Saturday, which has fairly serious implications and is causing wide reaching panic amongst the organisers!!

Here’s a thread that anyone can post on when they just feel the need to post and can’t think of anything relevant or useful or amusing or helpful but still have that need to post something. That’s how I feel right now and that’s why I started it. I feel slightly better now.
