Why is there no 'S' in London postcodes?

I’ve lived in south London all my life and the one thing that has always been a niggling issue in the back of my mind is a lack of a ‘south’ in London postal codes .There are N,NE,E,SE,SW,W,NW and no ‘S’ Could this be part of some World War Two government scheme to confuse the German...

Apparently we won’t be having a tube strike because the ballot papers have been stuck in the post due to the post strike. Is this true? I do hope so.

Why does "live preview" say it posts "some time in the future"?

When it actually posts your conversation “some time in the past”? (and what seems to be a random time in the past) Is this some sort of experiment in conversation time travel?
