Is it cheesy in a bar/club to give someone your business card? Or is it a good way of hiding behind your work? Should you exchange numbers before you get too wasted and make a tit of yourself? Is it less predatory to get someone’s email id these days? I’m on a big Sunday comedown and in a mood with mysel...

Of course there are loads of these price comparison sites online, but somehow, i seem to be too stupid to get any kind of overview from them....

My daughter’s switching her mobile phone provider and the current network wants £15 to ‘unlock’ her phone. Sounds like money for old rope to me. But isn’t this the sort of thing done for the cost of a drink by jack-the-lads in the pub? Or have I swallowed a myth? In short, can you recommen...

I’ve just been cold-called by Vonage, an Internet phone company. Their offer of free calls to local, national, mobile and interplanetary numbers for the next 94 years, sounds great, but being the cynic that I am i haven’t taken them up on it. Yet. I had a bit of look-see on the Interweb and it seems fair...

Right then, I don’t have time to muck about on Google any more today, and I need to find an impressive, entertasining yet cheap place to eat tonight, preferably easy to get to, and suitable for my sister and niece who are staying. My sister is a veggie, as am I, and my niece largely seems to live on bacon s...

I got royally fucked over with my mobile phone insurance for my iphone. I broke my iphone, and then discovered I was not covered as the company I took out insurance with didn’t exist. This left me in a pickle, and about £350 worse off. Can anyone recommened a mobile phone insurance company? I can’t us...
