Further to today’s Radar post on the subject, can anyone suggest a good – friendly – stationery supplier. One that won’t make us want to slit our wrists? One that actually wants our money? One that isn’t Viking Direct.

Hello! We are looking for a bit of extra office space, if anyone has any. Preferably central, ideally within SW1. Just until after Christmas. Ideally enough for 4/5 people. We’re very well behaved and make excellent tea. Any offers or pointers gratefully received.

I’ve been looking for a new desk to rent in south London for AGES… but am having no joy. I just want a weeny space for me and my computer in a room with some other media-ish/creative people… but these are few and far between, and the right one so far has eluded me. Anyway, as lots of you people see...

Estate Agents are rubbish. Just in case anyone didn’t know yet. Commercial ones are just as bad as residential ones but smarmier. Anyway, I’ve been hounding a whole list of commercial estate agents in a vain attempt to find an office to rent. Around 400-500 sq ft in Central London (West End/Waterloo/P...

Pond and I were talking earlier and we’ve decided that we really do like our new office. It’s nice. But at the moment it’s totally bare. This is the stage bit. Or “the breakout area” – we’re gonna put a little coffee table up there with some bean bags (or some sofas i...

We now have virtually an entire team of creative words-and-pictures cake-loving types in Fitzrovia occupying space on here. I’m bound to get blamed for it somewhere down the line but it’s good for office morale I like to think. How is the Friday cities take-up rate in your place of work? or am I the only...

Fantastic opportunity to sublet part of a 3000 sq ft office situated in superb central London location. This property boasts outstanding panoramic views, looking out onto Leicester Square, and is well-served with many restaurants, bars and shops located close-by. Transport links are excellent with many bus routes...

Hello all, Just a quick one to let you know that, after much blood, sweat and tears, we’ve managed to get the Fridaycities cam working properly. Obviously there’s not much on it at this time of the evening but from tomorrow, you’ll be able to watch us watching you all day every day. Current i...

Uninvited & Inappropriate Information Giving (UIIG for short) is getting out of hand. What is it? It’s when an individual, usually an unfamiliar one, proffers information to you that is neither invited by you nor appropriate to the conversation. My example stems from what should have been a simple interact...

I’m currently making a programme for ITV about technology addiction. One of the topics we want to explore is whether the barrier between work time and leisure time is being eroded by new technologies. What do the FCL faithfull think about this? I’m hoping to speak to someone who has been issued ...

I’m moving to Kingston Upon Thames in the next couple of months. Sort of registering with every damn agency from Teddington to Epson, how the hell do I get someone to offer me a job? I can play drums, I can take photos, I can manage an office, I can sell sand to Egyptians! (actually, I think he was from Algeri...

Right, bit of an odd one, this. I want to hire some space. Not a lot of space; maybe 200 sq ft. It needs to be accessible on a Saturday, in central London, and I only need it for 3 days towards the end of October. Why?, you ask. Well, I’m running a treasure hunt round London to celebrate my 25th birthda...
