I’m always hearing about the general intellectual meltdown in society these days, so I was wondering how often your well-informed, ice-cream-nostalgic readership manage to go to museums. Not art galleries or anything like that, most people I know have trooped round the Tate Modern a few times more than is goo...

I have the pleasure of taking my two nephews (aged 2 and 6) to the Natural History Museum this Saturday and am completely stumped as to what to do with them food-wise. All the restaurants I’ve been to are good for taking someone on a date, but not really that family oriented. Any suggestions?

I have not been here very long but I like London. But I cannot believe there is no computer museum! Okay, there is the Science museum in Knightsbridge but that is all. Are there no other places to see the great history of computers?

What’s the best unchanged exhibit in a London museum – those pre-80s displays from a the days before a BBC Model B might invite you to help balance the chlorophyl budget of a plastic leaf? Hi all, Its been a while since i posted, hope you are all fine and dandy. Anyway, I am looking for a museum- the one that has dead bodies and body parts in it. I know it exists (unless I dreamt it). Southwark Council is planning to close the Livesey Museum tomorrow, 29 Feb, only nine days after voting to do so. I don’t live in the area so I only found out today, but this is really cultural vandalism of the worst kind. The place has consistantly come up with engaging, child-friendly exhibitions for years o...
