I wear my LbL badge with pride (sort-of) but have never seen anyone else wear one – not even Pond. So – does anyone else wear one, or seen someone wearing one, or am I just a sad wanker who fell for a particularly pathetic joke? I must admit that I have had questions about it when I meet people and al...

The pic of the LbL guy with a megaphone has been cropped on the site. I think it looks like he is partaking of a yard of ale. Any other ideas as to what he might be up to?

This site is a dog’s breakfast. What went wrong LbL? The newsletter used to be great but I haven’t got a clue what all this tags stuff is about.

When trying to post a response to a question, I found that my computer had a bit of a hissy fit and went…......very….....slowly…......when….....typing…... I think you get the idea. Anyway, I managed to cope with that, just about. And then a scary loud box popped up telling me that th...

I’m one for purging emails rashly and quickly, and so although kudos were explained in an early message from LBL I can’t find any info about them now. I seem to have some, some of the people I click on have loads (jealous). But what do they do and how can I use them? Or is it a sort of online LBL good...

I used to like the old-style newsletter which included all the replies – it seems we now have to click the links for each conversation we’re interested in? Cunning way to get us to visit the site more often I suppose, but I can’t print it out and read it in the bath/on the toilet/on the bus etc. ...

London Based Leftists? Tall Fat Tories? Little Blue Livers? Tender Fried Tongue? forgive me for sounding thick, but i’m new here, and I’ve really not got a clue! I know they are things that lots of people like to talk about…but really, i’m lost after that.

Seems to me that since LBL evolved into its current bells and whistles/singing and dancing incarnation, complete with strange currency, a couple of things have happened that I’m not too sure about. For one a cartel of uber subscribers dominate the site (you will find them in “people” each among at ...

The brave new world that is is large, shiny, and full of all kinds of confusing beasts that have some of LBL/FLCers weeping into our keyboards. So under a more obvious title than the two previous posts lamenting missing features and pulling their virtual hair out in horrified confusion I thought this one might b...

For those of you that remember when all this was fields (etc, etc), you may be sad to know that The Friday Project has gone tits up. I have to confess, despite my appreciation of London By London & The Friday Thing, I never did confer my patronage on any TFP products (unless the inaugral copy of the London Ne...
