My parent and grandparents are coming down to London the last weekend of May and after any recommendations for a place where they can stay? They’ll be staying for three days – budget of around £200. Fairly central would be ideal too – plus inclusion of breakfast… Any ideas?

Driving down Seven Sisters Road next to Finsbury Park, on the way to Manor House – the street is lined with hotels such as ‘The Majestic’, ‘The Grand’ etc – surely they aren’t really hotels? They look like dumps to be honest, and they often have cartons of milk on the outsi...

I’m trying to help some friends find a place to stay in November. They’ll be in London for 3 nights from the 24th and want to stay in or around Piccadilly Circus. They need a triple room and don’t want to pay anymore than £150 a night. Seems a bit of an ask to me but thought you guys might have som...

Ms Quimberly and I have decided to get married in September. As she will be 7 months pregnant by then, a foreign honeymoon will be out of the question so we’ve decided to take a week off and stay in a swanky London hotel instead and spoil ourselves. As I’ve never needed to stay in a London hotel before, ...

I have relations visiting London, looking to stay somewhere in Ealing. They\’re of the “running a finger along the sideboard and tutting” persuasion, so I need to find a B&B/hotel which is quiet, relatively cheap but above all clean. The holiday inn in Hanger Lane is an option, but its not r...

I’d like to have a girly brunch or late breakfast with about 10 mates, ideally in a fancyish hotel for about £20 each on a Saturday. Near or in Kensington/Holland Park/Bayswater would be perfect… Has anyone been to the Orangery? Googling got mixed reviews. muncherbruncher

I work in one and that series is all too true…. well, the constant crawling to ‘regular customers’ and kicking out (ie overbooking) guests to get better ones is the norm etc…. oh and the prostitutes, who regularly ask for room service and ask for champagne and never turn up at breakfast.. The...

Trip Advisor has released a list of the top ten mankiest hotels in the UK, based on reader reviews. It makes for great reading The Manor Hotel in the link above sounds particularly fetching. Many on the list are in our dear city. I’d like to hear your hotel stay horror stories, as it’s always wonde...

My CEO’s PA has been trying to find a hotel for him for the night of the 20th of May. The charge can be up to £200 for the night. The hotel must be in Central London. So many seem to be completely booked up! What hotels can you guys suggest?
