Rather dull and prosaic question I’m afraid but…. I need thermostatic radiator valves fitted to five radiators in my flat and want to find a reliable heating engineer or plumber to do the job in SW4 for a non-silly price. Surely that’s not too much to ask? Although I’ve just been quoted...
Would these tiny windows work if the buses drove sideways?

So the clever people at London Transport thought that all the new buses should only have a couple of tiny windows on the top deck? That that would give us air? Maybe if buses drove sideways like crabs. But no, buses drive forward. So the air doesn’t come in the little side windows. Here’s an idea, Ken...

Why?! It’s not even summer yet and it’s too darn hot on the buses! I heard somewhere that they can’t turn it off. Surely that can’t be true, surely that is a major design flaw. Anyone know?
