I have a problem. I’m bored of my flat. It’s too expensive and I want a change. Only problem is, I’ve been there 14 months but have ten left on my contract. I rented through Foxtons, but my landlord is responsible for managing etc. He’s got a pretty big deposit from me (nearly £2k) and I d...

I have had 3 prospective tenants wanting to look at my flat and they all say.. ‘yes, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at 7pm….’ and they don’t turn up. No phone call Nuffin. My rent was reasonable, the flat was near their work, it has lots of benefits…hmmm. What is wrong with ...

I live in Kent at the moment, but have recently started work in the centre of London. I will be moving up after Christmas and am not sure where is the best place. I am single, so I’d like a bit of nightlife, and somewhere quite cheap (ha ha, I know, but in comparison) and easy transport to Farringdon where I w...

I need a one bedroom flat in Earlsfield/Wandsworth. If anyone knows of one then give me a shout. No cheekiness from you Mockernee. This is a serious matter. ...

Following on from my recent unintentional reluctance to make enough of an effort to find somwhere to live, I now find myself in a position where it’s actually become more than slightly urgent. People, I need somewhere to live. Not just anywhere mind, it needs to have a relaxed & grown up atmosphere and ...

She wants to migrate south of the river and live somewhere in the Sydenham, Forest Hill, Dulwich type area. She’s looking for a 1 bed or studio and is willing to pay up to about £800 (not sure if this is realistic or not!) If anyone knows of a flat in a niceish area, i.e. not Muggers’ Alley, Burglar ...

So my girlfriend Mokuska and I are looking to rent a place in the near future . The trouble is, you go into an Estate Agent and they tell you there’s nothing much at the moment, and that there are too many applicants and not enough properties. Then you look on various property websites and see some nice ...

Great location; 5 mins walk from tube and overground. Great local night life. Proper garden you can sunbathe and barbecue in. Wooden floors throughout. I love my flat and hated to leave it. Consequently, be warned; my very large brothers still live close by and anybody disrepecting it will reap the rewards.
