Hey, my friend wants to take her Dad somewhere this weekend, he doesn’t often come down to London, but has done the usual tourist thing… He is fairly old and cannot walk that far – I suggested Walthamstow Dogs – anyone have any good suggestions? (having never actually done the dogs myself!)

Anyone up for a last night out at the dogs at Walthamstow this week? The greyhound track up in the ‘Stow http://www.wsgreyhound.co.uk/ shuts next Saturday apparently and I’ve never been (Earlsfield was fun, though I lost on every race) I’d propose going to the Thursday session instead of the last o...

Careless Cyclists Causing Park Strife

Posted 2 months ago 2 responses

We don’t wish to tar every pedal-pusher with the same garish shade of Lycra, but it can’t escape the more observant pedestrian that a small minority of cyclists take an approach to road safety and basic manners that can be best described as “indifferent”. Read More

If you could choose a set of people with whom you’d most and least like to replace all those you are squeezed into the tube with tomorrow morning who would it be?For me on the plus side it’d have to be lovely firemen, even if it wasn’t a vaguely perilous situation where I needed rescuing. No doubt ...
