I’m buying a little pup shortly and want to visit a Pet Supply store. I can’t seem to find any chains like Pet Smart etc like the US has. The one Pet store chain that I have seen is way far off from where I’m located. Can anyone please name some pet stores (not online) that I can visit? Thank...

Could somebody please settle something for me and confirm that the opposite of “dog” is indeed “cat”. Thanks

With classics like: “The bellringgaarggh! Boy hits the roof after run-in with faulty bell rope” “What do you call a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Dalmation?” and my personal favourite… “Residents demand Asbo for sex-mad badgers” I think they are. ...

Has anyone seen Batdog? He stalks the streets of Maida Vale. They say owners grow to look like their pets, I think I’ve found Batman’s canine companion. A white bulldog shaped dog with black markings on his head. The black markings look JUST like a Batman mask, he even has the same pointy ears. HeR...

I was railing against a rubbish busker the other week, but today I saw a brilliant one in Balham. He was playing saxophone, and had a bulldog with him. He paused from playing for a minute and shouted ‘Sing!’ and the dog started barking along! Fantastic. Can anyone trump that?

In the town that I live in, we had a Parade for St.Georges Day today. The old ladies made sticky buns, the kids came out with painted faces, there were raffles aplenty, beer and a bouncy castle. The parade was excellent- a troupe of hells angels, classic cars, the horse rangers, a miserable looking group of SJA p...

Am keen to find nice pubs in which to meet up with a friend and his dog. Does anyone know any nice boozers to the east of Clerkenwell that are happy to admit a well-behaved pooch (he doesn’t drink like a bastard or pick fights). A call established that in Broadway Market The Cat & Mutton is ok with the...

I’ve got my folks staying over the bank holiday weekend to help me out with some DIY, they’re bringing their dog with them and I think we’ll be in desperate need of some liquid refreshment at some point to escape the DIY before we kill each other. Obviously if the weather is good we can beer garde...

I’ll tell you where it’s gone. Back in its kennel, aka Alamy Images. They wanted money for it. I told them they could whistle for it. They did and i came bounding back! Er, no, I didn’t. I rummaged around and found this giant jelly baby, courtesy of some artist who’ll also want a piece of my ...

Today, following a tragic border collie on very tiny yorkshire terrior incident in the park I discovered that it is really difficult to find a vet that is open at weekends. We eventually found one in Hounslow after a lot of ringing around. Do any of you know of any that you could recommened? You never know ...

I’m a little bit in love with the London 10 Quirky Places video. I demand to have my beagle-corpse buried in the dog graveyard. Anyone been to any of the places in the video? If you haven’t please lie.
