I feel like I’m being really demanding, folks. Sorry about that. We started pretty well on the old DIY, but time restraints and laziness mean that we’ve given up and are looking for a good painter/decorator/carpenter-type handyman to finish off a few rooms – can anyone recommend someone reliable in the Stoke Newington area? Thanks!

I need to find a decorator in Hackney, to put up lining paper (apparently ‘cross-lining’ is when you put up two lots of lining paper, first horizontally and then vertically) and and do some basic decorating, in a one bed flat. Anyone got any recommendations?
