We started pretty well on the old DIY, but time restraints and laziness mean that we’ve given up and are looking for a good painter/decorator/carpenter-type handyman to finish off a few rooms – can anyone recommend someone reliable in the Stoke Newington area? Thanks!

I need to find a decorator in Hackney, to put up lining paper (apparently ‘cross-lining’ is when you put up two lots of lining paper, first horizontally and then vertically) and and do some basic decorating, in a one bed flat. Anyone got any recommendations?
