Where’s a good place as near to London as possible, (inside the north circular – is that too hopeful?) to pick a lot of sloe berries in a day? I hope to get a few carrier bags full. I guess somewhere with a lot of hedgerows – Epping forest? Hackney Marshes? Richmond park? Not really sure… ...
