Has anyone ever done any cooking courses or stuff that are (a) Cheap (b) London based, and© not a bunch of poncey wank? I can cook, yeah, and don’t need a detailed recipe and set of scales, but I’m not that quick or confident at certain things. I’d like to be taught how to chop things prop...

On Friday, filled with the joys of spring and the need for meat, I decided to make a shepherds pie. The meat was tender, the spices delicious, all was brewing away and singing to my stomach, but I was so bloody hungry by the time it got to the potatoes that I shoved them into boil without peeling them first. Now ...

I am one of these people who prefer ‘old traditional recipes’ to the usual Italian Pizza, McDonalds etc and would love some kind of British cultural revival. I discovered a recipe for London Buns….which is a delicious bun recipe but it has completely died out… If you know of any more it woul...

Just in case you missed this.... We need to choose our KCL team. It’s going to be a fantastic day. Magimix and Kitchen Aid are supplying the prizes and the after party sponsored by Courvoisier. Come on folks – who wants to represent?
