Why would I want my sense of smell back?

I have been a smoker for over 10 years but recently gave up as I was going to have to start stealing from close family and friends to support my addiction. Well, I got my sense of smell back last week and – Jesus H Christ – LONDON MINGS! Piss and rubbish and rotting kebabs! If this is what the pink-lunged fraternity have to put up with, I’ll have 20 Capstan Full Strength please.

I dont think that London smells worse than any other big city (heilanmans umbrella in Glasgow on a Saturday is pretty rancid) but I did notice the other week that Camden High St at midnight is not a pleasant place to be. The pavments were covered in vomit, bits of food and broken glass and there seemed to be a lingering stench of rotting fish. No idea where that was coming from though.

Maybe you could spend your time in nicer places where there’s less in the way of piss and rubbish and rotting kebabs, eg not Camden High St for example

I dont normally spend any time there was was en route to a party in Primrose Hill. Camden is one of the few places I try to avoid as much as possible. Hate it.
