I would like to know where can I go for food and music on new year’s eve, where I can take my 13 years old daughter.

Try the Whirl-y-gig (who have been putting on parties for a quarter of a century). All their events are child friendly. http://www.whirl-y-gig.org.uk/newyear.whirly.html for details of their New Year Party, which is from 9pm till 6am. If I had kids I’d take them there. There’s areas where you can leave them as well if you want to go for a child-free dance. They’ll love the parachute dance. £25 for the NYE party but I think kids are free (ring to check, though!). Music is very eclectic, from dub and arabic breakbeat, through to Tunisian ambient stuff. Outstanding. http://www.whirl-y-gig.org.uk/intro.html

All of us garden ornaments will be hanging out round the little pond in your garden. Why don’t you come out and join us?
