Where can I go 'bashing' - Hash house harriering on bikes?

I have done the hashing, but heard there is ‘bashing’ beer and bikes and silly songs….

But the cycle clubs seem to be be the ‘serious sort’. Does anyone know of one or have gone on one?

Beer and bikes don’t go very well together. I still have a scar from an aborted 8 mile ride home from the pub when I was 17, fortunately only involving me and a kerb!

hashing is like running. but cheating, going on trails through water, or unusual routes.. where coming last is more important. The trail is marked out by flour or custard powder! You can cheat as well. For a first timer, you drink out of an old shoe! (I didn’t though!). Hashers tend to drink.. during the walk/run…There is not much info on this type of activity, maybe as journalists are forced to stick to boring newspaper rules!

Uh, don’t worry about the masses. Most people, when they want to drink, drink, and when they want to run, run. They don’t see the need to combine the two. Which also explains the initial lack of response to this thread. Hashing is, shall we say, a niche activity. Plus like where would you do it in London without getting beat up or hit with an ASBO?
