What's the best way to spend a sunny day in London at this time of year?

It’s a lovely day. Early spring rather than late summer, I’d say. So what’s the best way to pass it?
Not at work, obviously, which is the route I took. I was in town for something else this morning and ended up sat outside on Tottenham Court Road, the air bright and breezy and coffee in my hand. very pleasant. This afternoon will involve putting house numbers on the front door then going to Notting Hill to watch a show being filmed.
So what’s the best way to spend a sunny day in London at this time of year?

Head down to the London Beach Store at 23 Kensington Park Road, Notting Hill.
Invest in a kite – a two line stunt kite or a two or four line power kite. Ask the staff for advice on which one. Flexifoil are good.
Proceed with kite to nearest open space with enough room.
Fly kite. Enjoy.

Head up Primrose Hill… roll down Primrose Hill… repeat til you’re dizzy and grass-stained then enjoy a pint in any nearby posh pub. Prob better if you can recruit a friend to join you!

How much room is “enough”?
I’d go for a bike ride across Battersea, Hyde, Regent’s Park – and stop in each for a nice sit in the sun.

The more space, the better. Most of the main parks have good open areas. Your back garden is probably less of an ideal spot. Unless you happen to live in that big white house at the end of the Mall.
