But unwritten SLP rule #47 states that you forfeit the right to choose if you don’t do so within the allotted time (1 month).

Actually, there’s a pub in Westminster that is really close to Westminster station – and it’s cheap! (relatively). The Court pub that Purp is referring to is this one. It truly is beautiful, not sure about the bar prices though but it has a wonderful link to Oscar WIlde. The bar alone is worth visiting. It’s what used to be the waiting rooms and cells. The latter are now used as private waiting rooms!

Purp and I had a great natter. I’ll try and think of a suitable meeting place for next lunch.

Ah – pub I was thinking of is called St Stephens Tavern and it’s opposite Big Ben and is dead close to Westminster Station.

It’s not expensive and quite roomy.

It has some lovely views outside too.
