Not sure about Hot Fuzz and Point Break. Is there a link there…?

Ben

Haven’t you ever fired your gun up in the air whilst shouting aaaaaaaaaaaagh?

Ummm. No…

But I would like to.

Ben

Did you even watch Hot Fuzz? If so, you’d know that there are multiple references to Point Break. Danny keeps asking Nick if he’s ever fired his gun in the air whilst shouting aaaaaagh – from that scene in Point Break where Keanu Reeves fires his gun in the air whilst shouting aaaaaagh.

No I didn’t. I would have liked to. But I didn’t. I promise to watch it on DVD as soon as I can when it comes out.

Can I go now…?

Joelle

Rear Window is a classic.

I found The Descent quite disturbing.

I’ve not seen The Thing – are they similar then?

Rear Window is an utter classic. It was a hard choice between that and ET.

In for Hot Fuzz etc, awesome.

Thanks a lot for the early link – I recommend Knocked Up – it’s the new comedy from Judd Apatow, who made the 40 Year Old Virgin among others.

Also – I went last year – it rained slightly but… still – The Big Lebowski!

In for Hot Fuzz/Point Break for sure. My friend Osymyso is DJ’ing beforehand as well – check him out, he’s ace.

Rushmore is the absolute gem there. Anybody been to one of these before? Does it feel all cool and festivally or is it like watching the telly in your front room but with loads of people sitting on your sofa being annoying?
