My other half is turning a ripe old 26 this weekend and to celebrate we are having a dice day, which will involve all activities and places being decided on the roll of a dice.
Here is what we intend to do. We just need six (or more) options for each dice side
1: Sport (to be played in a local park we have already chosen)
2: A local (East London) pub around Canary Wharf/Beckton () area
3: Random pub in Central London
4: Random place to eat and drink in Central London (not to expensive)
5: Random pub (somewhere slightly livelier) in Central London
6: Random club/late night drinking establishment
Bizarre ideas most welcome. No where that will take ages to get to.
Think you’d only go there if the dice insisted, think ‘an experience’, think waking up the next morning wondering if you really did see that…

1. Go to a Spa 2. A surprise (something not on the list, you both have up your sleeve) 3. Go to an ‘adult/couply’ venue 4. Go to Archipelagos (off Goodge Street) and eat weird food 5. Do a sport together

1) Try a sexual activity that you’ve never tried before; 2) Wear each other’s underwear and go for a walk in the park; 3) Sniff glue; 4) Go on a duck tour; 5) Have a Rasul at Elemis Day Spa; 6) Stay in all day eating pizza and bonking.

premiumHang on, hang on. Let me elaborate and say that there will be about 12 other people coming along too. Damn me for making it sound coupley!
Thanks for the suggestions though… :)
Anymore?

I think my suggestions are appropriate for a group too! How well do you know one another? Number 2 would certainly be an ice-breaker if there are some strangers among you. I’m not sure Elemis hire out a Rasul to more than 2, instead, how about go for swim at Hampstead Heath.

premiumI reckon if we got really long coats and stood on each others shoulders we might get into Elemis as two really tall people…

Fuck me, that’s exactly what I was just thinking! Seriously! Why aren’t you in my “people I might like” list, that’s what I want to know.

premiumBecause the People I Might Like list lies! It lies I tell you!

Are you looking for 6 suggestions based on the the options you’ve already chosen… so you’re looking for 6 random pubs, 6 sports to be played in the park, etc.?
Or are you looking for new ideas? Or both?

Yeah im confused, what do you want us to suggest?

I was moved to write any old bollocks down, quite fun when you get going. I enjoyed the Dice Man too, and managed to get a gullible colleague to believe it was true. She only found out when she attended a book club and tried to get it on the reading list.
Must admit, I felt a tiny bit guilty then.

premiumSix suggestions based on the options we have chosen. One for each number.
So:
1. a sport (egg and spoon race, Kabaddi), 2. random pub in East London. etc
Other random suggestions are welcome too as they can be incorporated while travelling between or at each venue.
It is going to be a loooooooooooooooong day…

hmmmm ok… 1. Take some MDMA and go swimming 2. Climb to the top of St. pauls 2. Go and bait the sinners and winners man 3. Get on a boat and go to Greenwich 4. Tea at the Ritz 5. Booze time 6. Picnic on hampstead heath

premiumWe will do one after the other 1-6 throughout the day, if that makes more sense.
So we are looking for six suggestions for each number.
e.g. We roll a five for the sport and end up playing Kabaddi for an hour…
Is that a bit clearer?

premiumOoo baiting the sinners and winners man is a goodun. Though I can see it meaning we end up with several of the boys either turning god squad or trying to mate with him…

right, that’s what I thought… I’ll get my thinking hat on…
by the way, this is a great idea, well done!

premiumIdamonster, wish I could take credit for it but it was the idea of my other half and our mates (who are in a band called Butt Melt, so you can see why life is never quite run of the mill).
It is really odd how you wouldn’t normally do something until a dice tells you to and then lo and behold you are doing the mashed potato all alone in the middle of a trendy bar…
Spaniel, excellent plan…

Well still, at least you’re doing it so you can take credit for not wussing out :)
Sport – water fight, combat style – think paintball. If you bring wetgear to go over your clothes, you should be fine. OR – Climbing wall in Mile end park.
Local in East London – The Morgan Arms – really nice gastropub. You could fight with water in Victoria Park or Mile End Park, then go there for a bite. OR That pub on the canal in Mile End Park, can’t remember the name right now…
Place to eat/drink in Central London – maybe see where you are and then go to www.toptable.co.uk and put in the postcode. You should get more than 6 places and you could spin the dice to pick which of the top 6? You’ll probably get special offers with this too.
Late pub/club in Central London – AKA at The End?
Thinking cap is just not working well today… will keep on tryin ;)

premiumSo many options. Thanks! You are a star. :)
The climbing wall sounds like a good bet. Esp before all the pubs. After all the pubs would be even better but I think that might be a bit much…

I still think sniffing glue was a good idea. How about sniffing glue and then playing British Bulldog. That would fulfil your criteria for 1.
