I’m popping this ad here on behalf of my brother, who’s looking for a new flatmate. He and his flatmate are two very nice people with a spare fully-furnished single room in a 2nd floor maisonette in Mile End, E1.

Available: from Feb 3rd, for six months minimum. Deposit is 6 weeks’ rent.

The room is bright and airy. All mod cons, digital TV (freeview at the moment!)/DVD/VCR, digital phone, washer/dryer, fitted kitchen (quite new), gas central heating, CCTV security entryphone system, plus broadband internet access. Bathroom and kitchen recently re-floored. No couples/sharing or pets, sorry. My brother, Sunny, is a 29 year-old London boy, currently working for DEFRA in agriculture. The other is a 23 year-old IT specialist. They do enjoy nights out, but also try to keep the place clean.

Amenities: Close to Tube (5/10 minutes from Liverpool Street) and bus/night bus (25/N25), both of which lead into the West End. Also buses into Canary Wharf, about 10 mins away. Plus plenty of parking options available. Two decent parks nearby, plenty of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Whitehapel/Brick Lane 10 minutes away, Shoreditch/Hoxton about 20.

Bills: come to about £20 a month (NOT included in the rent).

Viewing: by appointment on Saturdays and Wednesdays ONLY.
