There have been a couple of posts about where is best to buy a digital camera but not any with good shops to buy second hand 35mm SLRs – or at least none that i could find.
Anyone been to a particularly good one (by which i obviously mean cheap) or any to avoid…

Are you after a film SLR or a digital one? I realise this may be a silly question therefore I apologise in advance.

premiumNo worries. I was after a film camera, unless there’s an cheap digital one out there, I got a Pentax K1000 for £49 a few years ago, and there’s always loads of cheap lenses and accessories available. However, that was back up north, and a train ticket would cost that same fifty quid.
Anyways, over the last few years – after moving 127 times, losing cameras to ex’s, and being robbed – I am left with no camera and a seemingly non-existent second hand market. Hence the above(s).

Try Sean Dean Cameras in Soho. They’re primarily a cleaning/repair place but always have a good stock of secondhand SLRs for sale.
