Rehearsal/meeting room space

The choir I recently joined (as did other LbLers – hello!) has to find new space to rehearse as our current space is no longer going to be available to us as of, well, now.

We’d been using a large meeting room in the offices of a law firm, so another meeting room, small hall or other similar space would be fine. All we really need is the space for about 20 people, chairs to seat them on, a table to sit the keyboard on and an electrical point to plug it in. Plus access to loos of course, and easy walking distance from a tube station.

It would be one evening a week for two hours, and as the group’s a non-profit organisation, we’re looking for donated space.

Have you checked out some local churches or places? If you perhaps offer to sing for a few things a year, they might let you use their church hall or something similar.
