Does anyone know of a decent, nay, a SHIT-HOT hairdresser in W1 or WC2?

My evil hairdresser has abandoned me to go travelling around the world – I get the odd mis-spelt email from Goan beach cafes, where he’s lounging indolently with yoga-babes while my “difficult” barnet gets more and more unkempt. Can you tell I’ve got a bit of a sad-on about this?

All suggestions gratefully received…

I hear good things about Hair By Fairy in Neal’s Yard. Also, Tommy Guns have kept me well-coiffed for a couple of years.

Both do boys and girls.

I too lost my hairdresser when he left Vidal Sassoon without telling me and i’d lost his card. Then as if fate had a hand in it I found him again by pure coincidence when i knocked on his front door in the line of work!

Anyway his new place of work is http://www.environment-ldn.com/

Haven’t been there yet and the website is hardly giving much away (!), but he is a lovely bloke and what i liked about him is that he always listens to what you want and thinks a lot about what he is doing even before he starts cutting. His name is Hiro

Go and see Steven at Harringtons on Great Marlborough Street. He’s a genius. No other word for it! He’s been cutting my hair for six years and has never ever done me wrong…...... If he wasn’t gay I’d ask him to marry me. He’s that good a hairdresser.

Went to HbF today – pretty good, quick and vfm. Dead opposite the Walk-in Backrub Centre in Neal’s Yard for double pamper value.
