Official FCL Thorpe Park Trip

Following on from this thread, now’s the time to get ticking. Decided on a Friday in September so that kids are back at school, and the park should be reasonably quiet enough to go on all the rides (many, many times). I reckon we could all head back into Central London for a night after, which is nice.

I couldn’t even stomach watching the opening credits to Jim’ll Fix it, and dread the day my son forces me to confess my cowardice by asking me to accompany him on any kind of ride. BTW, should any of you shop at Tesco (oh, the shame of it), you can exchange £8 of Clubcard points for a £32 day pass for Thorpe Park. Maybe the FCL Gods should try pitching a Kudos voucher to them.

I bloody hate these places and I’m a big chicken when it comes to roller coasters etc. I went on The Detonator at Thorpe Park and nearly crapped myself.

You couldn’t take my kids with you, could you? They’d be much more fun than me and I wouldn’t want to be a coat rack.

Do you take photos as I crash down the stairs so I can show them to friends, if I can still pick up heavy things like photos afterwards of course…of course I would expect to pay ridiculous prices for the photos.
