“Londonist Presents: Slow Exposure” is a photography exhibition showcasing the winners of our first photography competition. It’s part of Slow Down London and takes place at Ray’s Jazz Cafe, Foyles, Charing Cross Road. We’re having a private view and party on Friday 1st May and you are all invited.

I should probably add that a certain stalwart of this here site is one of the winners and you should all come along and see her picture on the wall.

The George doesn’t hire out or reserve its downstairs room anymore unfortunately, but the Londonist lot are planning to move on down there, just a few doors up, when we get kicked out of Foyles at 8.30ish.

Thanks BNM – it’s on the wall now. If you’re passing Foyles, pop up to the 2nd floor cafe and take a look. When it comes to the event on Friday, we’ll clear some of those pesky tables away so you can up close and personal with the shots.

The cafe cake and sarnies look aces by the way, if that’s any additional encouragement to come along and praise Babb’s bubbles!

thanks for coming, all – i was chuffed to bits with everything except the bit where the bar ran out of beer – confronting him at the end the manager admitted he’d forgotten an event was happening that night so I think I don’t have to worry about ‘minimum bar spend’ any more xxx
