Is there a secret floor in the OXO tower?

Has anybody else heard of the floor between floors in the OXO tower? I have it on authority from a dodgy lift engineer.

what do you mean? There’re the 4 or 5 residential floors between the design shops and the restaurant…

I don’t know about a secret floor, but a few years ago I went to a secret drinking club somewhere in or around the Oxo tower – not really sure where, you had to go in a funny way. I remember we had to know a password. It was for actors and theatre-y types and was called Gladys McPhee’s. We were a bunch of students who had been told about it by a visitng director at the College where we were studying. Could this be the secret floor?

Gladys McPhee’s… flicks through mental card file... wasn’t that attached to the now sadly defunct ‘Museum of…’ gallery that used to be in the Bargehouse just behind the Oxo Tower? I almost remember having a few rather good evenings there, back in the day.
