Any kind soul have some white or black computer power cables they’re trying to get rid of? Y’know like this. Cheers.

opens his computer bits drawer and pulls out the bag of power cables
I have: two black ones, one white/cream one, and one black one for US sockets.
Can be yours for the low low price of free!
I knew I saved them for a reason.

i have hundreds but you can’t have them, they’re part of my cable and wire collection that i keep in a large tabgle under the bed. It’s developing in to a work of art and you never know, one day i might need a really old legacy cable

I think mine are breeding. I knew I shouldn’t have left male and female cables in the same box….

Ahh…it’s a sign of age. A man is not a man until he has his “bag o wires”.

I have a big box of cables – power cables, power cable extensions, ethernet leads (twisted pair AND straight through), SCSI cables, IDE cables….
I think I also have a 9600 baud modem somewhere…..
If I could add tags I’d add:

premiumMorals – snap – got boxes of a real assortment of leads new, old and outdated.
Anyone want some 30pin RAM sticks?? Good for stirring tea, not a lot else these days.

Does giving up my cables reduce my manliness? I’ve been greatly reducing everything in my bits drawer.
I did consider making some kind of techno art out of all the old sticks of ram and odd circuit boards. then realised that’d be sad and far too nerdy, so gave up on that one in favour of selling as much as I could on ebay for the odd pound.
Quite why a man in the USA wanted my 15 year old motherboard I don’t know… but I got £1 for it! (plus p+p).
