Hi
I’ve been given the wonderful task of arranging an office day out (approx 60 people) in mid July. We do them every year and have been to Sandown, done treasure hunts round the City and Bankside, been on the Regent’s Canal, cocktail making classes…...
I’m struggling to think of something weatherproof and interesting, that all ages can do and enjoy, and that doesn’t cost the earth. I thought maybe the Zoo, lunch and then some games in Regent’s Park but the way this summer is going there’ll be a gale and torrential rain that day!
Have any of you wonderful people got any ideas please? A competitive teambuildingy element would be good.
Thanks!

We quite often have games nights. There are quite a few pubs that are happy to let you use a function room as long as you can guarantee to spend a reasonable amount at the bar and then you just take along table football, giant jenga, giant connect 4, set up a poker table or sort out whatever other games you fancy. Get people into groups and set it up as a tournament and then just stand back and laugh at how competetive everyone gets.

onlineHello Lowlyworm,
You might like to try this website for some ideas. Then simply add alcohol.

premiumWe like to hire a few day boats on the Thames at Kriscruisers. You rent a few depending how many punters you have which also adds an instant competitive element and depending how out of control you wish things to become pirate boarding, water fights etc. You can cruise to Windsor for lunch for example and the whole day can be lovely…

onlineFeed the penguins at London Zoo. You can have group feedings. We were going to do this as a Christmas treat.

Thanks guys! I’ve got Chilli on the case and might do something at the Zoo too! Alcohol will definitely be playing a part (”,)
