Does anyone know a library, that is open for public use (preferably on Saturdays too), where I could find information on political signs and symbols and their use in the 20th century? I need to write a tutorial paper for uni but as a distance student, don’t have access to a uni library. Thanks!

Your own college may have access to JSTOR which is the online journals catalogue thingy where you can get access to papers stored digitally. Most higher education institutions are members (although there are graded levels of access so you might not be able to get hold of everything ever written). Check with your college library. I swear by it.

Another vote for the British Library. Ain’t no book they ain’t got is kind of their raison d’etre. Books R them.
