If you go up to one of the chocolate machines in tube stations and keep pressing a combination of 1 and 0’s, a special message appears on the LCD display – a message that all Londoners might do well to heed. I can’t tell you what it is or it will spoil the surprise. If anyone can tell me why this message appears I will buy them a bar of chocolate.

The 110 chocolate machine hack is all about getting the message “OK! No Problems” to come up and not about getting free chocolate. I find whenever I am a bit pissed off on the tube, just seeing that message helps. A bit.

Tried that Tube choc machine ‘hack’ that was mentioned on LBL some time back (press 110 or 210 and you get a free Wispa or whatever.) Sadly, doesn’t seem to work – all I get is a Ritalin- like ‘OK! No problem!’ message…but no chocolate.

Boo. Am I doing something wrong? Or picking on the wrong sort of machines?
