I have. It’s usually very good and very free.

It’s put on by the Mayor (started by Ken and being kept on by BJ) and runs all the way along the South Bank from ooh, quite far up the river to ooh, quite far down the river.

It’s on Saturday and Sunday this weekend . There are tonnes of little music groups playing and food stalls and free dancing lessons and stuff for kids to make and booze to drink and jets of water to run in and out of.

The best thing I ever saw there was The Gaiety Engine which had a particularly memorable Noel Coward-style singing prawn-headed man.

I am going on Saturday to the feast on the bridge. The whole of Southwark Bridge is closed and from what I understand is one long table of feasting.

Have you been? Are you going this weekend?

No. And maybe.

Victoria line is closed all weekend.

One of our lot went last year. The Feast on the Bridge looks cool.

Great picture. But you say the Feast is on Sunday. Mayor’s website says it’s Saturday.

But we know that Boris is a lying bastard; I’d go on the Sunday if I were you.

Crap.

You just can’t get the staff these days. I’ve poked that writer in the rear with a sharp pencil for a correction.

Saturday. On the bridge.

I went. The feast on the bridge was really great. I’d go so far as to list it as one of the top ten best things ever to do in London ever. Ever. You lot had better get down there next year if you know what’s good for you.
