Has anyone experienced the milk of human kindness recently?

I was just about to get on a bus at Earlsfield yesterday, and had withdrawn some money from my pocket to pay for said transportation, when a lovely young lady pointed out that I had dropped a fiver. How kind – made me go all warm.

I suspect this sort of thing happens all the time – anyone else had similar experiences recently?

I don’t have one, as I live in Epsom. There are rumblings about extending zone 6 to include Epsom, which would be great.

I was in Earlfield today but nothing like that happened to me today, although someone in Golders Green a few weeks back asked if I left a credit card in the ATM machine…. Ahh!

Will you ‘pay back ’ this kindness to someone else?

There was a fine curry house in Epson although the waiters were ‘always in your face’ trying to remove things from the stage. At once stage they even removed my plate even though there was papadom on it!

Come join Fridaycities HomeCounties, Ben…there’s some cracking threads about undiscovered sheep grazing spots. I’d post the link here but I’m not allowed to.

Hilarious.

Yes, some good curry houses in Epsom, and a couple of decent Thais as well.

Will definitely “pay back” the act of kindness when the opportunity next presents itself.

Yes, this thread is the ebola of conversations, and it’s kindest to just let it die now. I’m regretting starting it in the first place – I just wanted some kudos!
