Amusing fast food shop names?

Following on from an earlier converstation, I noticed a Fried Chicken shop in Lewisham called Daxxy Fried Chicken. I always keep an eye out on the names of such places as they often amuse (Chicken Cottage being a special favourite) and was wondering what other gems people have spotted.

MFC Chicken Shop in Turnpike Lane … I hate myself for it but I always think of it standing for Mother Fucking Chicken.

Yeah, I love that one, Will. Also ‘It Will Grow Back’, which is a hairdresser’s out in East London.

“Get Stuffed” is my personal favourite – it’s a taxidermy shop on Essex Road

I haven’t got any good suggestions, however- I have thought of a shop name that would be awesome. A kebab shop called “Kebabylon”. I’d eat there.

I always found Chicken Cottage and Finger Lickin’ Chicken rather upsetting. Think of the children!

________

Bertie Roosters in Deptford. Great logo too.

Though similarly to Lauralou, FCKF Fried Chicken Kebabs & Fish in Old Street I always think of as Fuck Off Fried Chicken especially since giving me food poisoning a few years back.

It’s changed its name! I was so sad.

I like the sheer audacity of Kennedy Fried Chicken. You can find the full array of chicken shops ‘ere, including rules for naming them: http://badgas.co.uk/chicken/

Chicken Cottage? PAH! In Edgware, I have seen CHICKEN VILLAGE! Picture it! A whole village…populated entirely by CHICKENS!

There was a kebab shop where I used to live in New Southgate called Kebab Attack. Never ventured there myself and I’m sure the name used to put people off although visions of people being bitten by the polystyrene boxes that kebabs are served kept me amused every time I went past it.

Not a name as such, but I’ll never forget the evening when a good friend of mine asked very loudly in a Kebab shop in Tot Crt Road for a large cat’s fanny and a small dog bollocks please. Everyone erupted in laughter, we very nearly ended up skewered by an angry Kebab man, and we went home very hungry. Awww…alcohol. The answer to, and cause of, all of life’s problems.

2nd Simpsons reference today!

Chicken Village must be near where I live, which would explain the abundance of chicken bones littering the streets all the MF’n time!

Chicken and Rib Time™, South Ealing Road. I love the idea of there actually being a “chicken and rib time” like “elevenses” or “tiffin”, but love it even more that they have put a Trademark at the end of the name.

I’ve got a King Rooster, love the FCKF in Old Street though, fish and chicken, who would have thought it.

There are loads of ‘Kebabish’ in North and East London. It makes me think that there not quite kebabs, but kebab-ish.

Pfft, it’s always time for chicken and ribs.
