I too have TICKED THE BOX.

I think this has all worked out splendidly – twice the amount of curries we originally bargained for. We should toast Ramadan accordingly. Twice if necessary, as the first toast will be during Ramadan.

I went there for a group meal and the waiters were downright rude. they woulnd’t let us sit at the table reserved a we had not all arrived together and then when we all did there wasnt’t enough room of course. If you go out to have a fag they’ll clear all your place and we felt really shoo-ed along. It might be ok for smaller meet ups but I’ll never go there in a group again. Actually they were so rude to the latecomers that i’ll probably not go again anyhow… Good luck guys!

I like a challenge! It’s odd, I get pretty decent service wherever I go, irrespective of what people have said. Even Wong Kei were nice to me.

hello hello – sorry I have been absent for aeons, but still really fancy this – shall we just pitch up and hope or shall I give them a call – tho it sounds like booking makes v little difference. If there are a load of us it may be a good idea. xx

Definitely worth meeting in a pub beforehand. Turning up in one group is going to make life much easier.

But it’s still worth booking – I booked for 14 a while ago, and they kept the table for us.

As for the service – it isn’t always great, but they’ve never been rude, just rushed.

The White Hart is pretty close and really easy to find. It’s nothing special – typical old man’s boozer – but it does the job.

Defo pre-book (private room if you can with the numbers we’ve got) and defo (hm, I’m in Australia and suddenly everything has an “O” on the end… sorry…) meet in pub first and turn up en masse. White Hart is a good plan I think.
