One small 2 line soft foil power kite on offer. Comes in its own storage bag and is complete with flying lines and padded handles. The kite itself is white, grey and orange, and is about 5.5-6 foot across, making it ideal for beginners. Lots of fun in high winds. Going for nowt but ideally would like to swap it for something interesting…make me an offer!

I’d be interested in the kite but I haven’t really got much to swap with it though. You can take your pick out of a lawnmower or a large 1950s style freezer.
We could make it some sort of indecent proposal if you’re into that sort of thing. I’m sure my girlfriend wouldn’t mind if she knew that I was getting an ace kite out of it.
Where abouts are you based?

premiumI could offer you a fabulous Greek Gods chess set (really from Greece with little atlases as pawns) for your power kite. How wierd would that exchange be?

Interesting interesting…what state is it in and how big is this chess set? I don’t actuall play chess myself but perhaps it could make a nice gift for someone else if it doesn’t look to used.
Quimberly – I have no use for a lawnmower or freezer, and while YOUR girlfriend might not mind, I’m pretty sure MINE would! I’m based in Hendon.
The other thing I’d say about this kite is that it really needs shorter lines for greater control. It’s not a big kite and at the end of the lines it comes with, it looks like a small carrier bag whizzing around in the sky.

premiumThe chess set is huge and really heavy. It weighs a ton.
However I have no idea where the board is as I just checked and there it wasn’t. Which is a bugger really.
Soooo I will have to take back my offer and find the board.
Instead I can offer you a fine brand new shiny hardback copy of Parliment in Pictures or The Times A Century of Photography: Gardening or Napoleon and Wellington by Andrew Roberts…

Is that a Century of Gardening photography?! Hmmm… interesting….

premiumIs that how you keep the kite up…? Not sure I want it in that case…

If i didnt buy a kite at the weekend i might get in on this. Although you seem hard to please, i may have offered a tin of margerine from the 40’s – never opened, a blue hustler lollipop, and a buiscuit replica of an oyster card. I collect random food stuffs, mainly thouse used to advertise things! (e,g lollipop – hustler tv,) although my collection is quite small,, i may have given it up.

premiumI could offer you a 10 foot Flexifoil kite in exchange, or an 8 foot one, or a 12 foot one, just to confuse you. Ah, hobbies. I’m very interested in Kristina’s Oyster Card biscuit, though. Does it work – how cool would that be? An eatable ticket. Now there’s a niche.

no it doesnt work but it does look cool – its still in the wrapper and i have to stop myself from muching it on many occasion
