Nice hotel.....?

I’m off to Brighton for the weekend, and need to find a hotel to stay in – a nice one, quirky/cool/interesting, not chain, not stupid expensive, in a good area, kinda romantic….am I asking the impossible???

Bit late I know but I stayed at The Dove hotel last year. Excellent breakfast and on a square that is right on the seafront.

I stayed in a gay hotel by mistake. Nothing untoward happened but the owner did give me a lovely piece of fish when I left. Not a euphemism or anything.

There were loudspeakers in the bed; that was a bit strange.
