Twitty twatty chit chat

The Americans insist the past tense of putting a message up on the site is ‘Twatted’, as in “Have you ever used the site Twitter?” “Why yes, young sir, I have twatted” and there’s been a huge hoo-haa about what a demonic idea it is to allow people to speak freely via the site without moderation.

These two points rekindled our interest in the site which we thought was a special word for the bit between a ladies’ twat and shitter. After literally seconds of fun with the word Twitter, we set up an account here and now, dear reader, your foul unmoderated musing are now shared with the preverts who groom people over on Twitter.

Congratulations. You’re probably already all over Twitter, but it’s all very exciting for us. Or something. We thought about a poetry contest, called Twoetry. It’s been done. Then we thought of asking you to compile a 140 character story. Twiterature, if you will. It’s been done. We asked Twitter veteran and dwarf magician Paul Daniels whether, if he practised his arts via Twitter, it would be Twagic? He hasn’t replied.

We still haven’t worked out the point of Twitter, but hey, we still haven’t worked out the Mornflakes thing, either. Welcome to the future, kids.
